Teresa Stricklen
Associate for worship in the Office of Theology and Worship of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Teresa was called to establish the Academies for Missional Preaching because of her unique expertise in preaching, worship and theology. She has served on the faculties of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and Vanderbilt Divinity School where she taught preaching and worship. She has served as a preaching coach to various denominations’ pastors and will be doing so for us. With a passion for the gospel and a tender heart for pastors, she will be your guide and coach for this entire journey, working with you to preach sermons that are profound, relevant and memorable.
David Gambrell
Associate for worship in the Office of Theology and Worship of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), David’s work focuses on sacramental renewal, congregational song, the lectionary and worship and the arts. A minister of Word and Sacrament, David is a graduate of Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and a candidate for the Ph.D. in liturgical studies at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. His creative and theological gifts, wrapped in a gentle, pastoral spirit, will bless you with wisdom as he leads us in prayer and reflection on missional preaching within worship.
