Find resources to observe World Environment Day. This day, intended to raise understanding of environmental issues and to empower people to act on behalf of a sustainable future, is June 5. Congregations can celebrate World Environment Day on June 7 as a way of encouraging members to care for God's creation.

The resources include worship materials, a bulletin insert, and links to information on climate change and its impact on the church.

The United Nations has celebrated World Environment Day on June 5 since
1972. This year’s theme is “Your Planet Needs You – UNite to Combat
Climate Change."

The PC(USA)'s new Environmental Ministries Office, Presbyterian United Nations Office, Office of Theology and Worship, and Presbyterian Peacemaking Program have combined to make these resources available.
