Actualmente, Leal sirve como pastora para una congregación bautista, y hablará con congregaciones y organizaciones de los Estados Unidos este otoño como parte del Programa de Hacedores Internacionales de Paz 2017 del Programa Presbiteriano por la Paz.

Central American peacemaker to visit U.S. this fall

The Rev. Delia Leal is the regional coordinator for the Women’s Ministry program in Mexico and Central America with the Protestant Center for Pastoral Studies in Central America (CEDEPCA). Currently a pastor for a Baptist congregation, Leal will speak to U.S. congregations and organizations this fall as part of the 2017 International Peacemakers with the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program.

New book focuses on peacemaking in the PC(USA)

In 2016, the 222nd General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) approved a new peacemaking policy. The new policy includes five affirmations that are essential for Christians who want to fulfill their calling as peacemakers, and these affirmations become risks when taken.
