Gracious God, we pray for the people of Sudan. We pray particularly for the people in Abyei, South Kordofan, the Blue Nile, and other places where tensions run high. We pray that the military of the Government of Sudan and of the Sudanese People’s Liberation Army refrain from conflict. We pray that all the people of Sudan turn from violence and work for a just and lasting peace. Guide the people. We ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.
