Amnesty International and Torture Awareness Month

Amnesty International USA offers an activist action pack to hold an event calling for an end to torture.

Fill in a form about the film screening, vigil, or other awareness-raising event you're organizing in June to mark Torture Awareness Month and International Day in Support of Victims of Torture.

When you register, Amnesty will send you a June Activist Action Pack filled with a DVD of "The Response" (a 30-minute drama about Guantanamo), a campaign T-Shirt (let us know your size!), action postcards, stickers and all the materials you'll need to organize a successful vigil or film screening.

Our Activist Toolkit below has easy to use tips and resources to help you organize effective events that will engage your friends, family members, neighbors, community leaders and event elected officials! View all Torture Awareness Month Event Listings.

Find statements of the General Assemblies of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) about stopping torture.
