Pursue peace for Israelis and Palestinians

Bookmark_front Churches for Middle East Peace invites messages to President Obama thanking him for his strong support for a two-state solution and for making clear that both Israel and the Palestinians have responsibilities in the pursuit of peace.

In our messages, we can encourage President Obama to have his administration play a role as a peacemaker.

Speaking in Turkey on April 6, President Obama stated unequivocal U.S. support for the two-state solution and called for accountability by both Israelis and Palestinians.

The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has long supported a two-state solution and recognized that Palestinians and Israelis both have roles to play in achieving a just peace.
