Eighteen worshiping communities receive Mission Program Grants

In its final grant cycle for 2021, on behalf of the Presbyterian Mission Agency, the Mission Development Resources Committee awarded 18 Mission Program Grants to worshiping communities — including eight to those just getting started.

The Rev. Dr. Rhashell Hunter announces plan to leave the Presbyterian Mission Agency

After serving the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) for more than 26 years, the Rev. Dr. Rhashell D. Hunter has announced her plan to leave the Presbyterian Mission Agency (PMA). Hunter has served as the Director of the PMA’s Racial Equity & Women’s Intercultural Ministries (RE&WIM) for the last 14 years.  She will leave at the end of April.

Now accepting applications for Native American Leadership Development Fund awards

The Presbyterian Mission Agency is now accepting grant applications for the Native American Leadership Development Fund Award. The 2020 one-time awards are being made available for education and/or leadership development of Native American Presbyterian leaders or Native American Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) organizations and communities.

1001 New Worshiping Communities announces webinar schedule

The Presbyterian Mission Agency’s 1001 New Worshiping Communities is offering a series of webinars to prepare and equip members of the church for ministry. All webinars are available at no cost, and up to 100 registrants can listen and learn to each live presentation.
