Welcome to our FAQ page, your go-to resource for answers to all your questions about the Matthew 25 Summit! We’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions to provide you with quick and helpful information. Transportation and Housing

    1. Will there be transportation to and from the hotel to the event site?
      • The Conference will provide shuttle service between the hotel and New Life Presbyterian Church throughout the Summit.
      • At the conclusion on Thursday,  there will be a shuttle going directly to the airport from the church.
      • Participants are responsible for their own transportation costs to and from Atlanta. 
  1. What housing is available?
    • Hotel rooms are available at the Four Points by Sheraton for Jan. 15-18, 2024.
    • The group rate ranges from $149-$189, depending on the type of accommodation selected.

  2. Are there other lodging opportunities such as church homestays to accommodate church volunteers?  
    • This option is not available through our registration process.

 

Registration, Schedule and Workshops

  1. Do I need to register for a specific track?
    • Registered participants will receive an email to choose their workshop preferences. We will do our best to fulfill your top choices, but this may not be possible, depending on the demand.
  2. Can I switch workshops at the conference?
    • We cannot switch workshops at the event unless there is room in the workshop you would like to attend. This is due to room size and the maximum number of people allowed (fire code regulations).
  3. Will any part of this event be livestreamed?
    • Worship will be livestreamed.
  4. Where can I find recordings or other resources from the event?
    • Recordings and event resources can be found at pcusa.org/Matthew25Summit as they become available.
  5. Will there be childcare or programs for children and youth?
    • The midweek timing of the event and denominational child protection policies do not allow for this option.

 

Scholarships, Cost and Payment

  1. How much does this event cost and what does it include?
    • The event registration costs $199 and includes two lunches, two dinners and conference materials.
    • Registration does not include the cost of the hotel.
  2. Are there scholarships being offered for attendees? If so, where can I apply for them?
    • A reduced registration fee of $99 is available for:
    • Students (currently enrolled)
    • Young adults (ages 18-26)
    • People of color
    • LGBTQIA+ identities
    • Those who are economically disenfranchised.
  3. What forms of registration payment do you accept?
    • Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
