Over 99 tons of carbon offset from General Assembly!
Nearly 200 Presbyterians decided last June at the PCUSA General Assembly in Detroit to donate a carbon offset as part of their General Assembly experience. Carbon Offsets for General Assembly this June!
This year, as in part years, PCUSA is offsetting some of the General Assembly’s carbon emissions by investing in family forestland in Appalachia. Worship, committee, exhibit hall and plenary spaces will be offset, so that the greenhouse gases emitted by our use of lights, air conditioning and other energy is “offset” by our investment… Read more »

Nominate Restoring Creation Award Winners!
Do you know some great congregations, Presbyterian entities, or individuals of faith who are working to care for God’s creation? Annual awards to such folks are given out by Presbyterians for Earth Care (the fabulous, grassroots, membership-based organization of earth-keeping Presbyterians and friends). This year the awards will be given at the PEC Luncheon at the Presbyterian Church (USA) General Assembly on Thursday July 5th.
