Congratulations to PCUSA Earth Care Congregation St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Tucker, GA! They just received a grant from Georgia Interfaith Power & Light to install more energy efficient lighting in their education building. Last Thursday, September 13th, I joined other PCUSA colleagues, Leslie Woods (Office of Public Witness) and J Herbert Nelson (Office of Public Witness), at a fabulous EPA ENERGY STAR program on “Greening America’s Congregations through Energy Efficiency” at the White House. Glenshaw Presbyterian Church (GPC) in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania was certified as an Earth Care Congregation in June 2011.
