More than 70% of people in the U.S. say they are concerned about climate change and over 40% say they are very concerned, but they think only 14% of people around them are very concerned? You, as a person of faith, can help others see they’re not alone in their concern and invite them to take action.

The training is practical, inspiring, and backed by science. Content includes:

  • The Moral Case for Climate Action, Climate Basics
  • Climate Impacts & Our Faith, Injustices
  • Climate Solutions, Faith in Action, Climate Justice
  • Communicating on Climate & Faith
  • Advocacy & Engagement
  • Making a Difference as an Ambassador

You will be trained to lead presentations, communicate effectively, and invite others into meaningful climate action. You can commit to taking action on climate by signing the Ambassador Pledge at the end of the training and join the Ambassador program which provides access to:

  • Localized resources, talking points, customizable presentations and events to help effectively talk about and take action on climate.
  • A private online network of thousands of Ambassadors across the U.S. to learn from and collaborate with, and additional training to build your skills.
  • On-going support to facilitate direct advocacy opportunities like write blogs, op-eds, and letters to the editor, participate in candidate forums or give public comments, rallies, contact elected officials and more.
