My new friend showed up in Paris to join in the fight against climate change. At night he is quite calm and friendly. By day he sniffs the wind, and when he gets the scent of someone whose commitment is lacking, or courage is flagging, he bears his teeth and growls.
Hopefully, there will be an agreement in the next 48 hours. The U.S. delegation will hold a briefing at 2:00 PM local time. Anything earth shattering, and I will let you know.
