Join the Environmental Ministries Action Network

Environmental Ministries is launching the Environmental Ministries Action Network (EMAN), which is open to anyone who is involved in environmental stewardship in their congregation and/or presbytery. The goal of EMAN is to inspire and equip Presbyterians to care for God’s earth and to increase the channels of communication between Environmental Ministries and congregations and presbyteries with environmental stewardship programs.

Participants in EMAN will work with their churches and/or presbyteries to care for God’s creation. PC(USA) Environmental Ministries will be in regular communication with EMAN participants to provide them with tools and resources for this work. Participants will be eligible to apply for funds to use on environmental stewardship projects in their church or presbytery.

Earth Day Sunday Celebrations

Many Presbyterian Churches celebrated Earth Day Sunday this spring. Read about some of these celebrations on the Environmental Ministries Eco-Journey blog. If your church celebrated Earth Day Sunday and you would like to share your story, please email me, Katie Holmes. If it didn’t work out for your church to have a service focused on environmental stewardship near Earth Day, it is never too late to incorporate caring for God’s creation into your worship. Find resources to use any Sunday.
