Indianapolis Green Congregations will be hosting “2010 Green Congregations Workshop,” an interfaith event on Saturday, June 5, from 8:30am to 5:00pm at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis.
If you are in the Indianapolis area, this will be a great opportunity for you to learn about how to work to green your congregation. Featured speakers will include Scott Russell Sanders, author of “A Conservationist Manifesto,” and Luke Gascho of Goshen College, chair of Hoosier Interfaith Power and Light. Breakout sessions will cover a wide range of earth care topics including getting started, scriptural basis for creation care, energy audits, youth programs, and green celebrations.
