Join us on October 20, 2015 for a seminar on human trafficking and how the church is responding. The seminar will include presentations on:
- What is human trafficking?
- Labor Trafficking with a speaker invited from the International Labour Organization
- Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children – ECPAT-USA
- Organizing to Address Human Trafficking – Ryan Smith, Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations
Participants will tour the UN (limited to twenty).
The seminar will begin at 9:30 AM at the Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations and move to Jan Hus Presbyterian Church and Neighborhood House at for a community dinner and a special worship at the Neighborhood Esperanza Worship Service celebrating United Nations Day (October 26), Mark Koenig, Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations, preaching.
The seminar will cost $45 with the UN tour and includes lunch.
