Hello everyone! My name is Sarah Hoyle, and I am one of the new summer interns. I am a rising senior Politics and International Affairs Major at Wake Forest University. I am also a member of Clemmons Presbyterian Church in Clemmons, North Carolina where I have for a long time been interested in how Christ calls us to advocate and work for victims of injustice.
I am interested in learning more this summer about food justice and hunger on an international scale, an issue which the Presbyterian Church is very involved in. As a Political Science major I am also very interested in how countries utilize the UN to play out international diplomacy, and how different NGO’s influence that process. I’ve already learned so much in my one day and I am looking forward to contributing more throughout my time here!
