A number of the Presbyterian participants in the 59 Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women attended the morning worship service at First Presbyterian Church of Forest Hills to hear the Rev. Larissa Kwong Abazia, pastor of the congregation and Vice-Moderator of the 221st General Assembly of the 221st General Assembly (2014) preach.
Those who attended were inspired by the sermon and blessed by the fellowship of the congregation.
Nurtured in spirit, the group left the church to participate in the International Women’s Day March.
