Prayer for the day:

God we pray for the environment that you have given us to care for. We thank you for the women throughout the globe who are taking on activities of health and regeneration for our shared earth. We thank you for the abundance of the earth and we ask for seasons and harvests of plenty so that the many women who are working your soil and seeking to sustain their family from the earth’s abundance, that you would be with them and give them all they need. We pray for situations in which women face environmental degradation of any kind, including deforestation, pollution, greenhouse gases and other effect of the warming of the Globe.  Amen.
