The Presbyterian Peacemaking Program’s 2014 Mosaic of Peace conference was a powerful experience for the 109 Presbyterians who participated, many of whom have already shared some of their experiences through sermons, speaking engagements, blogs, and social media.
PC(U.S.A.)’s Unbound online journal and forum for social justice issues has recently published several reflections from Mosaic of Peace. Be sure to follow these stories as they continue to be posted and to add your own comments:
- “Preparing for the Journey” a poem by Caryl Westerberg
- “And Who Will Inherit the Land?” by Sam Massey
- “Grape-Nut Flakes: What I Learned from the Mosaic of Peace Conference” by David Barker
- “The HP Way: When Profits and Human Rights Clash” by Geoff Browning
Rev. Ginna Bairby, editor of Unbound, blogged daily throughout the conference. Her posts, accompanied by photo galleries, can be found on the Mosaic of Peace website.
Mosaic of Peace participants also authored the 2014 Peacemaking Advent Devotional: Proclaiming the Good News of God’s Peace, available now for preorder in the church store. Pre-order copies for your household or congregation today!
