Pray without ceasing

Picture of UN and 1st Avenue in the RainAs I look out my newly installed window (Superstorm Sandy destroyed the old one) on the 7th floor of the Church Center for the United Nations, I see and am experiencing a different New York, United Nations and United States. There is something missing … something’s changed. It’s cold, wet and gray outside today and there are fewer people walking down 1st Avenue than usual. The flags of the 193 member states have not been lifted today.

There’s nobody in the office right now but me, but I am NOT alone. I am in the presence of God, The Comforter. I find myself with tears in my eyes. I am weeping. My heart is full. I need to share this with you. Your love and your prayers are needed by so many; here and around this world we live in together.

I watched this video from UN World Humanitarian Day and I want to share it with you. Let me know what you think. Please continue to Pray Without Ceasing.

Peace and God’s Blessings to you and Yours!
