Togo ratifies Convention on Cluster Munitions

On Friday, June 22, 2012, Togo became the 72nd State Party to the Convention on Cluster Munitions.  The Convention bans all use, production, stockpile and transfer of deadly cluster munitions.  Togo was one of the first countries to sign the Convention and with Friday’s ratification, Togo has deepened that commitment.

Togo has said that it has never used, produced, transferred, or stockpiled cluster munitions
