If you are in New York City on Friday, August 5, you are invited to participate in events remembering the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and working for a world free of nuclear weapons:
An interfaith service of remembrance at will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Church Center for the United Nations (44th and 1st) followed by a walk to Dag Hammarskjold Plaza to ring the Peace bell at 7:15 p.m. along side our Japanese brothers and sisters in Japan (8:15 a.m. Japanese time).
