Word was received this evening that Mary Emma Allison died today.
She and her husband, the Rev. Clyde Allison, helped start Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF sixty years ago. Children around the world are alive this evening due to the funds raised by children in the United States using orange boxes to collect money to support the work of UNICEF in providing food, medicine, and education to help children thrive.
For the life, witness, love, and vision of Mary Emma Allison, thanks be to God.
