United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Asha-Rose Migiro urges States to take part in upcoming meeting on cluster munitions.
The First Meeting of States Parties to the Convention on Cluster Munitions, will be held in Vientiane, Lao PDR from 9-12 November 2010. The meeting will determine how the Convention on Cluster Munitions be effectively implemented.While 103 countries have signed the convention (43 of those countries have ratified the convention), the United States is not among them.
Contact President Obama and urge him to sign the treaty.
