I was glad when they said to me

I was glad when they said to me:
Let us go to the house of the HOLY ONE!
Our feet have come from near and far,
from north and south, from east and west.

Worshipers name places from which we have come.

Let us go to the house of the HOLY ONE!
Our feet are standing within your gates, O God.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem …

Worshipers name other places for which we pray.

Cities of God, places of promise,
built up in hope, bound firmly together in love.
Within your walls, within your gates …
Let peace prevail!
For the sake of my relatives and friends I say,
Peace be with you.

Worshipers name other persons for whom we pray.

For the sake of all, I say Peace!
Peace be with you.
For the sake of the house of the HOLY ONE our God,
I will seek your good.
