Our colleagues with the Friends Committee on National Legislation report that Senator John Kerry, chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has announced that the committee vote on the START treaty has been delayed until September 15 or 16. This treaty would reduce the number of strategic nuclear weapons by the United States and Russia.
