"In response to the call of the Council of Bishops for the United Church of Christ in the Philippines to participate meaningfully in the May 2010 National Elections and to prepare ourselves for the forthcoming UCCP General Assembly to be held May 25-30, 2010 in Dumaguete City, we are national launching the Month of Prayer and Mindful Vigilance (MPMV) on May 1, 2010."

Pray for the peaceful and orderly conduct of the elections. In the name of Jesus, let us cast away the forces of unrighteousness that are attempting to thwart the will of God in this election.
