Eleven American election observers, including a number of Presbyterians meet at the airport last night by members of the United Church of Christ of the Philippines staff, the Chairperson of KMU, the largest labor confederation in the Philippines, and a reporter for one of the largest news broadcasts in the Philippines. More observers to arrive today, including Peacemaking Program Staff member Nancy Eng MacNeill and Matt Lang. Matt and Nancy are being sent by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)'s Office on Asia and the Pacific and the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program.
