Affording Hope

The Affording Hope Project presented Leaps and Bounds tonight in Louisville.  This one woman show explores the intersection of faith, ecology, and the global economy. Developed and performed by Tevyn East, this show is being presented in a variety of faith communities and institutions of higher learning in 2010. Leaps and Bounds involves a monologue, song, dance and action as it proclaims God's call to care for creation and challenge systems of exploitation and domination. The show is set on a stage with a minimum of scenery, costumes and props – all of which are used creatively to establish a variety of scenes and situations.
