Environmental and Peacemaking Travel Study Seminar to Armenia

2 Would you like to visit Armenia and:

  • Explore how people of faith care for God’s earth?
  • Learn about Armenia’s relationships with its neighbors, including Turkey?
  • Visit reforestation sites and pristine forests in need of protection from mining that threatens them?
  • Visit villages and projects working to educate children?
  • Meet with leaders working on environmental justice concerns?

Then join us on our journey to Armenia to learn more about human rights, social justice activism, and the environment.  We have been invited by 2009 International Peacemaker Dr. Nazeli Vardanyan, a licensed attorney in the Republic of Armenia and international expert in the field of environmental law, who will help lead the trip. We will meet with environmental activists, nonprofit directors, and church leaders to hear how faithful individuals are called to create change.
