As part of the Red Hand Campaign to end the use of children as soldiers, participants in the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators conference in San Antonio had the opportunity to make red hands. These were among the 250,000 red hands delivered to United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
The opportunity was provided by the Presbyterian Office of Child Advocacy, the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program, and the Presbyterian United Nations Office.
