The Big Tent is a first-of-its-kind Presbyterian event scheduled for June 11-13, 2009, in Atlanta under the theme, “ … and the word became flesh.”
Ten conference will meet at the same time. There will be some common meals and worship services, a shared exhibit hall, some common workshop sessions and a Saturday evening celebration event.
The 2009 Peacemaking Conference will be part of the Big Tent.
Registration for the Big Tent will open in January. However, arrangements have been made for those who plan to attend the conference and want or need to pre-pay the fees from 2008 budgets to do so. Forms for individuals and groups are available. Simply download and complete the forms, arrange for payment by check or credit card, and return as instructed by December 29.
