Many congregations are working hard and faithfully to care for sisters and brothers in Christ who have served and who are serving in Iraq. Kirkridge Retreat Center in Pennsylvania has announced the “Journey to Wholeness” program that offers veterans a safe haven for empowerment, camaraderie, mutual support and community building. The cost is subsidized and there are scholarships.
