‘Ready, set, shift!’

#GivingTuesday, a day Presbyterians share their faith, love and finances with a world desperately in need of those and more, opened at noon Eastern Time on Nov. 30 with worship at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church in Asheville, North Carolina, which also offered up a fun film that employs a church catchphrase: “Ready, Set, Shift!”

‘You give them something to eat’

The 130 or so people attending Wednesday’s online Matthew 25 national gathering on hunger heard from three innovative ministries working to alleviate hunger in their communities — Asheville, North Carolina; Cleveland Heights, Ohio; and St. Louis.

Young adults called to mission service

A year of service, a lifetime of deeper questions. This is done best when young volunteers and local people of faith walk together to encourage, challenge and inspire one another.
