New Spanish-language children’s book published by Flyaway Books

El maravilloso grano de mostaza’ is a retelling of the Parable of the Mustard Seed

LOUISVILLE — Flyaway Books celebrates the release Tuesday of “El maravilloso grano de mostaza” by co-authors Amy-Jill Levine and Sandy Eisenberg Sasso and illustrator Margaux Meganck.

Ideal for children ages 3-7, “El maravilloso grano de mostazaprovides a moving retelling of the Parable of the Mustard Seed in Spanish. The book presents a unique author collaboration between rabbi and best-selling children’s writer Sandy Eisenberg Sasso and Amy-Jill Levine, a renowned Jewish New Testament scholar. It also features ethnically diverse characters by illustrator Margaux Meganck. The book shows young readers that one tiny seed — just like one small child — carries a world of potential. A special note for teachers and parents is included.

“El maravilloso grano de mostaza” is now available for purchase where books are sold in paperback format. The retail price is $10 and the book is also available in English and Korean.
