Melissa Rift is living in Colorado as a member of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) program. Young adult volunteers like Melissa Rift explore God’s calling in their lives while living as part of a Christian community in YAV partner sites around the world.
The Rev. Philip Akway Obang, general secretary of the South Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church (SSPEC) is sending regular updates about the changing situation in South Sudan and has asked for support of his American brothers and sisters.
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) is working in collaboration with its partner, the ACT (Action by Churches Together) Alliance to respond in the aftermath.
