Let me quickly share some exciting news you may have missed. The Street Vendor Project will be teaming up with Anthony Bourdain to curate a dozen stalls in the huge hawker center he is building on the West Side of Manhattan!

The opening for Bourdain Market is still two years away, but the buzz about this project is already as loud as it gets. We are honored to be a part of it. And thrilled to help give the best immigrant street food vendors in NYC a chance to participate in what is sure to be an overwhelming success

The Street Vendor Project is a grassroots membership organization of people who sell food and merchandise on the streets of New York City. The organization is currently working to get the city government to lift the cap on the number of vending permits and licenses it makes available so all street vendors can work lawfully, and to make other important changes to the vending laws. The Street Vendor Project is a Presbyterian Committee on the Self-Development of People funded partner.
