Anita Clemons, Senior Vice President of Investment Management, recently announced her retirement from the Presbyterian Foundation, ending 24 years of service to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Her retirement will take place later in 2024.

Clemons joined the Presbyterian Foundation in 2000. As Senior Vice President of Investment Management, she offers insight into the investment management of endowments, and a thoughtful, gracious link between the Foundation’s dedicated investors and its outstanding fund managers.

“At the Presbyterian Foundation, my role has transcended mere employment; it has been a profound calling,” Clemons says. “The privilege of visiting numerous congregations and encountering dedicated Presbyterians who exemplify their commitment to Christ through investments and unwavering service to their church and community has been an immense honor. I have enjoyed being part of such an excellent team here at the Foundation and have been so happy to be part of our shared success.”

At the Presbyterian Foundation, Clemons serves as investment staff to the investment consultants/advisors, investment manager on accounts and relationship manager on large accounts, and provides ongoing monitoring and measurement for the Foundation’s assets.

“Anita Clemons’ expertise, enduring dedication, and consistent relational approach have proven instrumental in fostering a sense of stability and trust across the denomination, making her an indispensable force in navigating the challenges of church-related investments,” says the Rev. Dr. Tom Taylor, President and CEO of the Presbyterian Foundation. “As our Senior Vice President of Investment Management, Anita’s extensive knowledge and deep experience regarding healthy stewardship have been one of the keys to the Foundation’s successes over the past decade. Anita’s legacy is not just in numbers and portfolios, but in her marvelous relationship-building abilities and insightful wisdom that she has imparted to literally thousands of clients for the Foundation and for our subsidiary, the New Covenant Trust Company. As Anita embarks on a well-deserved retirement, we celebrate a remarkable leader whose brilliance, tenacity and unwavering faithfulness have left an indelible mark on our mission.”
