During six years in El Salvador as a mission co-worker with the Joining Hands Network, Kristi Van Nostran worked to bring people to a common table and create a network to support ongoing efforts around justice and food sovereignty. Now she is working with two Southern California presbyteries to once again walk alongside her Central American brothers and sisters.

According to Irene Neller, Fuller Theological Seminary’s vice president of communications, marketing and admissions, “Technology is causing a mass disruption in higher education.” She added that “Students’ learning preferences, the pace and the way they go about learning has radically changed.”

Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, is planning to close its satellite campuses in Seattle, Menlo Park and Orange County and reduce degree and program course offerings in Phoenix and Colorado. The changes, if approved by accreditors, will be effective at the end of September 2019.

Presbyterian World Mission pays tribute to Mulumba Musumba Mukundi

Presbyterian World Mission is celebrating the life and mourning the death of the Rev. Dr. Mulumba Musumba Mukundi, general secretary of the Presbyterian Church of Congo (CPC) and Rector of the Sheppards & Lapsley Presbyterian University of Congo. Born in February 1945, he passed away on the morning of March 29.
