In what is believed to be a first, “Call to Worship: Liturgy, Music, Preaching, and the Arts” a quarterly journal produced by the Office of Theology & Worship, has focused an entire issue on poverty.
The Presbyterian Campus Ministry at the University of Georgia (UGA) is not new. It’s been around since 1940 and housed in the current space since 1959, which served as a safe space for African American students during the tumultuous 1960s.
An ecumenical panel that includes leadership of the World Communion of Reformed Churches has taken further steps to determine, in its words, how “to build a world that better resembles God’s true kingdom.”
