Film screening coming to the Presbyterian Center

The Presbyterian Center in Louisville, Kentucky, will host a screening of the film “1963-Still: Same Shot” from 3 p.m. through 4 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, Nov. 20.

The James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation, renowned for its dedication to empowering and acknowledging young global leaders, is delighted to announce a historic milestone in the Foundation’s history. The “24 Under 24 Award” and the “Global Leader Award” will be bestowed upon an exceptional daughter-father duo, Sydney Ireland and her father, Gary Ireland, both of them with deep roots in a PC(USA) congregation in New York City. This recognition is in honor of their tireless and transformative efforts in advocating for gender inclusivity within the Boy Scouts of America.

Hunger advocacy at home and abroad are topics of the PC(USA)’s ‘Jesus & Justice’ Conference workshop

What does hunger advocacy look like at home and beyond? The Presbyterian Hunger Program’s Jennifer Evans and Eileen Schuhmann helped young adults learn more about both spheres Saturday during a workshop held as part of “Jesus and Justice,” the Young Adult Advocacy Conference. Young adults came to the Presbyterian Center and gathered online for the first-ever conference, sponsored by PC(USA) advocacy ministries in Washington, D.C., and at the United Nations.
