Resources in Young Adult Volunteers
The Sabbath Practices Ministry Kit for Young Adults looks at how to engage each of the essential practices (Hospitality, Prayer, Service, Storytelling and Retreat) with the young adults in your life. Each practice section includes things to consider and ways to engage. A list of suggested resources is included as well.
The Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) program is a year of service for young adults, ages 19–30, at sites in the U.S. and around the world. Consider taking part in a YAV experience like Akilah Hyrams, who served in the Philippines in 2016–17.
The Pentecost Offering is devoted to ministries that support our young people during their “first third of life,” the time from childhood through young adulthood.
This lesson plan (1 of 2) teaches kids how they can make a difference through the Young Adult Volunteer Program.
Young adult volunteers can use this form for reimbursement of expenses incurred during events.
