A year after Haiti’s devastating earthquake, patients are being cared for once again at the Presbyterian-supported Holy Cross Hospital in Leogane. Approximately 50 inpatient beds and two small operating theatres are now in use, and the hospital laboratory and x-ray units are functioning again. A comprehensive rebuilding plan has been approved, funded in part by a $750,000 grant from Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, and construction contracts have been awarded.
