Hi, there everyone my name is Sarah Bridges. I go by she/her/hers pronouns. I am from Charlotte, NC. I’m 25 years old and a graduate of Elon University in Elon, NC. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Public Health. I heard about the YAV program through my older cousin who is part of the Presbytery. I thought this would be a great opportunity for me to engage. While I didn’t grow up in the Presbytery I did grow up in a Christian home. I have also worshiped in a Presbyterian church before and have admired the structure of the church. I am engaging in this YAV year because I want to know God’s purpose for me. I have been through some challenging times the last few years and I want to reinvent myself in a community that I know has the best intentions for me.
