Hello my name is Ruth Boggs. I am a Georgia native. I am 22 years old. I am graduating from a Presbyterian college in Spring 2018. I am a double major in art and psychology. As I have grown up, I have always known that I loved helping people by teaching, loving and caring for one another. God has really been impactful in my life because of my calling to serve. He has given me the courage and strength to do his service, while also working on what he wants me to do after YAV. I am going to be in Chicago for my YAV year. I am super excited to be meeting all new people, as well as changing and growing with people in this upcoming YAV year. I am hopeful that with this experience that my faith will grow and change, and allow me to become a better me with the help of an intentional community.
