My name is Noah Westfall. I am 22 years old and currently a senior philosophy major at Santa Clara University. I love asking the “big” questions and, as a Christian, I have always wondered about the meaning of my faith. I can’t wait to continue thinking about these challenging questions as a member of the AYAVA House at Austin Seminary. As graduation approaches, I have thought more about how I can use my love of thinking deeply to help build community. Recently, I assisted a research project around opioid use in rural Colorado and have found interest in issues around mental health and psychology. I also spent a quarter tutoring permanent residents applying for citizenship to the U.S. I look forward to the upcoming year of hard work and growth as I put my faith to action. I hope to further explore my sense of calling and how I can use my gifts to best serve the world.
