“My name is Juliet Owuor. I am 24 years old, and I grew up in Lubbock, Texas. Before my YAV year, I attended Texas Tech University for Environmental Engineering with a minor in mathematics. Through this year of service, I hope to grow healthy connections while exploring what it means to be a disciple. As I reconstruct my relationship with God, I find comfort in living in a world where I see our creator in the eyes of those I serve.
