Hello! My name is Claire Kim (she/hers), and I am 25 years old. I grew up as the daughter of a pastor at my home church, Church of All Nations, in Minneapolis, but only recently have I begun to develop a faith of my own. After completing my BA in Asian Languages and Literatures at the University of Minnesota, I decided to attend seminary to nurture this budding faith, and I hope my faith will grow even deeper through the YAV program. I am especially excited to learn more about my cultural and religious heritage as a third-generation Korean-American and four generation Presbyterian. I love my home church, which made the decision difficult, but after several international experiences witnessing Godʼs amazing work around the world, I am ready and excited to see what God is doing Korea and participate in the global body of Christ.
