My name is Christina Hogan. I am from Arlington, Virginia, and I am 22 years old. I graduated in May 2017 from Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science degree in social work. Like many recent college graduates, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, but I knew I wanted to make a difference. As a lifelong Presbyterian I was fortunate to grow up in a congregation that taught me that faith belongs out in the community, not just in the sanctuary. During my year as a Young Adult Volunteer in New Orleans I am excited to put my faith into action and serve God in the community.
