My name is Anne-Kearney Patton. I recently graduated from Kalamazoo College. I grew up in the suburbs of Birmingham, Alabama. My church family and my faith have played a central part in my life and my faith informs the way I carry myself in the world. I am grateful for the various communities that have nurtured me and allowed me to dive deeper into my understanding of Biblical text and the complexities of Christianity. Over the past few years, I have found myself drawn to welcoming communities that allow for relationship building. I am excited about my YAV year and the opportunity to walk alongside such communities. Additionally, I am looking forward to exploring how my creativity influences my work.
